“No. I received’t do it except my supervisor tells me to.”
I had been teaching a junior product individual, and this was perhaps our third 1:1.
Their group was completely blocked, missing any readability on what they wanted to work on subsequent.
Regardless of being new to the position, the PM appeared to care and confirmed promise. Sadly, as a result of they had been principally caught in senior management conferences, they not often met with their group.
And once they did present up, they had been fully unprepared.
I managed to guide time with the product supervisor’s super-busy supervisor.
A protracted-time firm veteran, they boasted a powerful monitor report with quite a few business achievements.
However once I requested about how they felt their PM was doing, their response was:
“The PM is spending an excessive amount of time with their group. They should have extra face time with senior management.”
I attempted to cover my shock. After I casually introduced up the PM’s lack of preparedness in main discovery, they pushed again, saying they didn’t see it as a part of the position.
